Laurel Berry Jam

Product Description

This is a berry that not too many people are familiar with.  It grows on large trees, often found on older homesteads throughout Tasmania.  The berries themselves don’t taste all that great fresh of the tree (my dad loves them fresh!) – They’re quite chalky, but they make the most delicious Jam.  The Jam flavour could be described as similar to a cherry jam, only the Laurel contains a strong almond aroma and taste.
